Cranfield University 是一所位於英國 Bedfordshire，在伯明翰和倫敦之間。從附近的 Milton Keynes 到倫敦乘火車需要 35 分鐘。是英國一所僅招收碩士和博士的公立研究型大學，以科學、工程、設計、技術和管理為特色。大學最初成立於 1946 年，當時的名稱為 College of Aeronautics (CoA)。1969 年，航空學院更名為 Cranfield Institute of Technology，1993 年經皇家特許狀成立，獲得學位授予權，並成為一所大學。

大學有兩個校區，主校區位於 Bedfordshire 的 Cranfield，第二校區位於 southwest Oxfordshire 的 Shrivenham 的英國國防學院。主校區在英國 (和歐洲) 是獨一無二的，擁有自己的機場 Cranfield Airport 和自己的飛機，用於教學和研究。
